Winter Whispers Deer Quilt added to Prizes

Sandie Swanson from Kalico Kat Quilt Shop in Casper has donated a kit for this beautiful winter wildlife scene.  The kit includes the fabric to create a 44″ x 56″ quilt top.  Thank you, Sandie, for your beautiful kit. The winner of this will be a very lucky quilter!  Drawing for this and all other prizes will take place after the Wyoming Shop Hop is finished in approximately 1 month. We have already received 2 entries from shop hoppers who have completed their  state-wide shop hop!  Get to hopping, quilters – and don’t forget to submit your completed passport for a chance to win great prizes!DSC_1009

Beautiful Quilts from classic blocks

prairie stitcher quiltThis quilt was shared by Tammy Townsend from the Prairie Stitcher in Douglas, Wyoming. It features her Wyoming Quilt Shop Hop block, which is given free to each visitor to the shop during the shop hop.  I love how the floral border blocks transition from the turquoise border to the brown border – a perfect example how a pieced border can add so much to a quilt!
